Gülten Akyan Charmed İzmir
`Artist Gülten Akyan, who has been watched by her exhibition called “Aşk Olsun İzmir Seni Unutmadım” is preparing to organize another exhibition in Balıkesir.
Artist Gülten Akyan’s exhibition named “Aşk Olsun İzmir Seni Unutmadım” which she opened in İzmir/Konak municipality’s Selahattin Akçiçek Eşrefpaşa Culture Center is receiving lots of admire. Media and art lovers are interested so much in the exhibition which will be open until 30th March 2007. Gülten Akyan who received much admire with specially her mosaic works, is preparing to open another exhibition in Balıkesir State’s Art Gallery.
Who is Gülten Akyan?
Artist born in 22th November 1958 in İzmir. She completed her high school education in İzmir. She met with art in this era. In 1981 she graduated from Manisa Sports Academy. She educated about language in England. She retired from her teacher carreer afrer 21 years.
Her love of mosaic arts pulled her into this range. She studied about mosaic in Revanna, Italy. She joined painting, relief and statue lessons in some workshops in Balıkesir.
In Çekirdek Art Workshop she took lessons from Ekrem Kahraman about painting and arts. The collections in worlds some states have her Works. She made so many indoor and outdoor Works. The Artist is married and she is mother of her child.
