Sea Expatriates is in Balıkesir
The mixed painting and mosaic exhibition which is called “Sea Expatriates” by four artists has opened.
Şahmaran art group’s members, Irmak Özcan, Neriman Sarıbaş and Celal Salman’s paintings and Gülten Akyan’s mosaic Works are combined in this exhibition has opened in Balıkesir after Halikarnassos Culture Center. Exhibition gathered much interest starting its first day. Gülten Akyan joined the coctail with her husband (Birlik Foundation’s Head) Mustafa Akyan and her daughter Hande Akyan who is a student in İstanbul University.
 
Gülten Akyan is the only mosaic artist who educated in another country. Her Works is beautifying lots of architecture. We suggest to see the exhibition whom likes to see mosaic arts which we may see during a tour in Anatolia’s Historical Buildings with a new taste of art.

Charming Mosaics from Retired Teacher

Artist and retired teacher Gülten Akyan, exhibited her Works in Eşrefpaşa Culture Center. She exhibited her Works under the title called “Aşk Olsun İzmir Seni Unutmadım”. In the opening too many persons didn’t leave her alone. Akyan’s mosaics of her 5th exhibition can be seen until 30th march.
